Tooltip with transparent shadow

I am using this excellent tooltip in a few places where the tooltip is very close to the bottom of a page. On these occasions the tip 'disappears' off the bottom of the browser window.

Is it possible to add something to prevent this and maybe have it open upwards if it is too close to the bottom of the window?
